Digital Product Engineer
12 month contract
Dallas, TX

Immediate job opening for a multi-platform digital product engineer to join our client's team and assist with both web and adaptive responsive products. This individual is responsible for supporting the overall delivery and ongoing maintenance of all Search-related features and functions across digital channels. This role will be managing technical products such as: back-end systems, transactions, integrations, etc. This role will assist and work closely with the Sr. Manager, Digital Product Engineering.

The Product Engineer will wear many hats and will be required to work closely with mobile product owners, business stakeholders, creative, IT, QA and UAT teams in order to deliver exceptional products across platforms. The Team Member will be required to have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, over the phone or video. The role will influence and motivate team members to deliver exceptional products by being creative, thoughtful, organized, and decisive. The Product Engineer will be required to have a strong business acumen, a holistic understanding of web technologies and trends, and solid experience working in the digital space.

o Responsible for supporting delivery leads in the translation of business and customer requirements into product definitions that can be designed, developed, tested and deployed onto digital channels using multiple delivery methodologies
o Provide support to the Director in the creation of various deliverables required for digital delivery, such as epics, user stories, and bugs
o Effectively collaborate with various delivery partners located in multiple locations across the globe, including leads from the creative, architecture, development, testing and support disciplines, as well as the business sponsors of each initiative
o Responsible for assisting with the testing efforts for each product enhancement, helping to ensure the final deliverable meets the stated requirements provided
o Seek guidance from the Director during the delivery lifecycle as needed for items requiring leadership attention
o Strong attention to detail
o Proven ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
o Proven ability to collaborate well with all level of technology counterparts to deliver results
o Product research
o Reviewing analytics for error trending and reporting on changes over time
o Real-time product testing and troubleshooting
o Root cause analysis
o Managing product enhancements and maintenance requests
o Documenting clear and complete business requirements, use cases, user stories and scope
o Functional requirement review/approval
o Stakeholder management
o Project team support
o Will work on products that are integrated global and mobile web

Required Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o 3+ years digital product management and/or engineering experience
o Experience managing technical products such as: back-end systems, transactions, integrations, etc.
o Skilled in Agile Delivery Methodology
o Experience in digital features and functions
o Experience in ticketing systems such as Jira, Confluence or Quality Center
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Must be highly-motivated with a desire to achieve success through collaboration and teamwork.
o Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of business and technical experience, including others in the department and people in other departments and/or outside the corporation
o Proficiency in computer programs essential to perform job tasks, such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and e-mail
o Understanding of how mobile products work with web - PLUS!
