Senior Lead Cyber Assessor Penetration Tester

IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Senior Lead Cyber Assessor Penetration Tester to join our team and work on-site at our client's global HQs based in Memphis, TN. Ideally this role will be based in Memphis, but Dallas, Texas is also an option. This role will be responsible to execute penetration, vulnerability and security assessments across a variety of commercial off-the-shelf products (COTS), custom applications and platforms. You will be responsible for assessing security vulnerabilities and very familiar with threat modeling and attack scenarios.

You will be responsible for performing security penetration testing in various environments, simulating real-world cyber-attack scenarios against technologies and conducting a security red team exercise. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who is passionate about technology and loves the chance to learn and execute on any client requests.

o Execute penetration testing assessments and vulnerability assessments to include network penetration testing, web application penetration testing, Radio Frequency (RF) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Bluetooth, Zigbee, mobile device penetration testing and Internet of Things (IoT) testing.
o Execute testing and assessments with your background in the following Information Security domains: Cyber Architecture, Endpoint Protection, Network Security, Infrastructure Security, Application Security, Database and Platform Security, Identity and Access Management, Policy and Governance, Cloud Security, RFID, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Encryption, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning and Management, and Compliance and Risk Management.
o Determine attack method types and their usage in targeted attacks such as phishing, malware implantation, perimeter vulnerabilities, application vulnerabilities and lateral movement.
o Develop vulnerability reports with detailed findings descriptions, test case reproduction steps and prioritized recommendations.
o Present the results of penetration tests to client partners, including senior or executive leadership.
o Communicate the results and recommendations for improvements effectively with customer staff in structured and unstructured situations.
o Implement penetration-testing processes, utilizing tools and technologies, following standard methodologies.
o Supervise contractors and consultants based on demand and project needs.

Required Skills:
o Expertise in cyber threat landscapes, including Advanced Persistent Threats, Cyber Crime and Hacktivism. This includes expertise in the tactics, techniques and procedures applied to a cyber-threat.
o Specialized skills in operating systems and enterprise platforms such as Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Active Directory, .Net framework, Oracle business products and SAP
o Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to successfully interact with clients
o To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
o BA/BS Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of IT related experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 12+ years of IT related experience
o Five years' experience in the Information Technology/Information Security industry
o Two years professional experience IT-related penetration testing activities
o Prior experience in Management/ Project Management
o Certified in cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIA, OSCP and OSCE
o Experience with typical scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, VBA, JavaScript, C++ and SQL
o Prior experience working with the Kill Chain, Diamond Model of Intrusion, and similar frameworks and concepts
o 2 years' experience working on a security Red Team or other technical security assessment team
