Sr. Oracle EBS Functional Manager


Location: Euless, Texas


We have an exciting new job opening for a Sr. Oracle E-Business Functional Manager to work on-site at our client’s headquarters in Euless, TX.  Oracle EBS is a key corporate application that supports our client's finance, purchasing, and supply chain organizations. This individual will manage the Oracle EBS Support Analysts both onshore and offshore.  This role will focus on applying Oracle application expertise related to financials, purchasing, inventory, iProcurement and Project Costing.  The Oracle EBS Functional Manager will work to design, architect & implement process solutions leveraging the applications within Oracle E-Business Suite.  



o   Partnering with the business to develop processes and solutions utilizing tools within the e-Business suite including financials, purchasing, inventory, iProcurement and Project Costing.

o   Working closely with our Business Units and Oracle Manager to support, develop, and implement scalable, robust solutions

o   Identify and implement process improvements leveraging the software, best practices, automation, innovation and technology upgrades

o   Establishes system specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.

o   Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.

o   Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.

o   Meet with finance to understand business requirements and monthly reporting requirements

o   Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

o   Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

o   Update and maintenance functional documentation (BR100 & MD50) around application modifications and changes



o   Minimum of 10+ years’ experience implementing & supporting Oracle applications

o   Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12 modules

o   Strong functional experience with Oracle financials, purchasing, inventory and Project Costing

o   Experience with finance modules that are impacted by the core modules such as: AP, FA, AR, CM and GL

o   Strong Procure to Pay (P2P) experience

o   Oracle EBS EAM experience is a plus

o   Project based experience designing, implementing, and testing RICE customizations

o   Familiarity with AIM/SDLC or equivalent methodology/ documentation with good communication skills

o   Experience and specific accomplishments in implementing, introducing best practices on multiple projects

o   Knowledge of ACH processing

o   Strong people management skills – ability to successfully manage up, down, and across the organization

o   Experience in outsourcing and/or working with offshore resources

o   Knowledge and experience in establishing metrics to evaluate organizational performance

o   Four-year degree in Computer Science
