Cisco ACI Network Engineer
Location: Richardson, Texas

We have an exciting job opening for a Cisco ACI Network Engineer. Seeking someone to provide leadership and technical expertise to execute planning, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, management, and support of network infrastructure. In particular, this position has primary responsibility for our Cisco ACI environment.

o Design, engineering, analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting of our Cisco ACI network environment
o Secondary responsibilities include network infrastructure and services, including routers/switches, firewalls, wireless, and VoIP
o Resolve Incidents, Problems, and Service Requests to meet business and client service objectives
o Develop detailed documentation including diagrams, policies, guidelines, checklists, and project plans
o Multi-tasks, prioritizes according to business priorities and production availability requirements
o Build trusted relationships with business partners and other IT teams in order to achieve results
o Required to be available for on call duties, and must be reachable during those times

o Strong expertise supporting Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
o Integrate services appliances to Cisco ACI deployments to include application delivery controllers and firewalls
o Expert skills in monitoring network performance and troubleshooting problem areas
o Subject Matter Expert on how to create different application policies in the ACI including Tenants, Application Network Profile (ANP), End Point Group (EPG), Contracts, Subjects, and Filters
o Subject Matter Expert on the Fabric Access Policy including how to create switch policies, interface policies, AEPs, Physical and External Domains
o Subject Matter Expert on Fabric Discovery Activity including Verifying the APIC and LEAF Health
o Expert experience with configuring and deploying enterprise-class networks including the following products: Cisco Nexus 9k and 2k Switches, Cisco Catalyst Switches, and Cisco ASR / ISR Routers
o Expert understanding of external L2 / L3 fabric connectivity and experience in L2 / L3 switching Architecture design
o Must have an advanced understanding in BGP, OSPF, VDC, vPC, VXLAN, and ECMP
o Familiarity with at least one configuration management tool such as Postman or Puppet (desired, not mandatory)
o Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls (desired, not mandatory)
o 5-8+ years of relevant Data Center Network experience
o BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
