Immediate new job opening for a Credit Card focused Product Strategy Consultant to join our team and work on-site at our client’s global headquarters in Mclean, VA. This is a strategic role where you will work with our client and American Express to align their goals and grow their loyalty programs. The role will focus on new ideas to obtain new customers in the credit card space as well as retaining customers. Customer growth and retention as well as analytics are the key focus areas in this role. This individual will support strategic projects for a co-branded Amex credit card that are strategic in nature. Someone with analytical and strategic skills is crucial. The ideal candidate will have experience within the credit card space. This team partners with marketing and digital; this role comes up with the ideas and hands it off to marketing where marketing will see it through to completion.

Role details:
o Our Customer Engagement, Loyalty, and Partnerships Team builds awareness of the industry award winning loyalty program and increases consumer growth through strategically designed partnerships and campaigns. Our team is focused on increasing customer acquisition and retention, most specifically through direct channels such as the mobile app, website, etc. In addition, the team generates engagement and repeat business through recognition of loyalty benefits and earned rewards during guest stays.
o This role will be a critical member of the Amex partnership team, and part of the broader Amex partnership center of excellence. The Consultant will have the primary goal of driving co-brand partnership metrics such as NAA and remuneration. The team member in this role will be responsible for creating and delivering strategies to achieve co-brand goals by working cross-functionally within corporate and across Amex.
o The Consultant will help to grow the American Express relationship to meet and align partnership goals. You will serve as a critical stakeholder leveraging internal partner capabilities to effectively execute new and existing partnership programs that drive corporate goals working cross functionally across teams such as Co-Brand Product Management, Marketing, Channel Owners including:
Digital, Finance, Analytics, Lifecycle, and Consumer Insights, plus additional teams at American Express.
o Facilitate creation of the co-brand card product strategic framework and overarching product strategy
o Partner with channel owners to supporting channel strategies that drive co-brand KPI’s such as NAA and DBB
o Partner with stakeholders to set co-brand partnership goals and monitor ongoing performance
o Support analysis, strategies, and prioritization to determine optimal budget allocation towards investments that achieve partnership goals
o Partner with Amex partnership COE members to determine strategies that optimize KPI’s across the co-brand customer lifecycle (e.g. acquisition, growth, engagement, upsell, and retention)
o Monitor and improve card member sentiment and engagement, including benefit utilization
o Support agenda development and content creation for partnership executive meetings
o Influence Amex partnership strategies beyond the co-brand, including contract strategy

Required Skills:
o 3 years+ Product Strategy experience
o Product sales & development experience with consumer-facing products or services
o Experience in analytics: gathering metrics data, building dashboards
o Additional Requirements: Up to 30% Travel
o 2 years in travel or financial services
