Digital Content Strategy Lead

Location: Dallas, TX


We have an exciting new job opening for Digital Content Strategy Lead to work on-site at our client's global HQ's in Addison, Texas.  This role will report to the Senior Director of Tech Storytelling & Content Strategy, and will assist in driving awareness of the Technology group’s exceptional work through best-in-class storytelling.  In a nutshell: Help us tell our story better.  We are looking for a well-rounded versatile writer with a fresh style & tone.

o Support our Technology leadership and key partners in digital storytelling to showcase the brand.  

o Improve communications and information flow within the Technology team to better rally the team around the shared vision, goals, and achievements.

o Enhance the Technology team’s reputation to better position the team for partnership across the organization and showcase to Team Members how we are driving the future of hospitality.

o Participate in a team culture that is helpful, humble, nice, reliable, honest, resourceful, positive, accountable, dedicated, and empathetic.


Required Skills:

o 5-7 years of professional experience in editorial, PR and/or communications

o Strong writer and editor with storytelling experience across multiple formats (digital, print, audio, video, social, podcasts, etc.)

o Must be able to provide a portfolio or examples of your work

o Experience working for enterprise size brands – highly preferred

o Experience managing editorial calendars and blogs

o Expertise with developing and cultivating strong working relationships with colleagues throughout all levels of an organization

o Prior editorial experience and/or has worked closely with or within a digital creative shop or PR agency

o Talent for telling compelling, engaging stories about technology

o Prior experience working closely with or within a digital creative shop or PR agency

o Passion for storytelling through words, pictures, video and audio and demonstrable experience with digital storytelling

o Ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to identify and develop stories

o Effectively manage project timelines, approvals and deliverables

o Enjoy a highly reciprocal and creative environment with designers, writers, artists, etc.

o Lean-in to experimentation, trial and error

o Identify and adopt new technology

o Excellent written, verbal, communication and analytical skills

o Bachelor’s degree

o Internal communications experience – plus
