Jr. Project Manager: Team Resource & Capacity Analyst

IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Jr. Project Manager to join our team and work as a Team Resource & Capacity Planning Analyst on-site at our client's global HQs based out of Addison, Texas. This role will be a part of an Enterprise PMO team.

The Team Resource & Capacity Analyst will report to the lead PMO Analyst over internal resource management projects. Responsibilities will include data validation to ensure accuracy, reporting analytics, process and standards implementation, training of application users, and assistance in additional phase execution.

Job Duties:

o Will be working as a liaison among stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities in the context of requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Also promoting a collaborative working environment amongst the business and technology teams by applying agile principles to achieve quality performance deliverables.
o Coordinate, elicit and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, tasks and workflow analysis
o Perform requirements analysis and verification to ensure that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, verifiable, and they conform to company standards
o Should be able to thoroughly analyze requirements to ensure that they meet needs, are documented correctly, developed to match requirements, tested thoroughly, and implemented successfully
o Analyzed risks, issues and impacts with changes from the baseline requirements through a change management process
o Assist in creating and executing system test cases resulting in quality product delivered
o Utilizing tools to track and manage system and user acceptance testing defects
o Ability to drive and facilitate communication involving a variety of stakeholders
o Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
o Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to define scope and business requirements for client integration projects
o Facilitate team meetings to achieve project goals
o Work cross-functional teams to address project dependencies
o Utilize agile tools/methods to track and report project activities
o Provide daily maintenance of the application
o Produce and distribute various reports
o Create dashboards and views within the application to assist with analysis and reporting.
o Monthly reviews to validate information collected within the application.
o Assist in collection and integration of information for the application.
o Ensure process and standards implementation with users
o Assist users with issues/problems within the application.
o Assist in the configuration of application based on internal teams requirements.
o Extract recommendations to improve the application and work with the steering committee to implement improvements.
o May be asked to assist in project management tasks.
o Improve user experience of application to increase user acceptance.
o Perform other Adhoc duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
o Bachelor's Degree
o 2 years' experience in analytics
o 1-2 years' experience as a PM or Project Coordinator
o Strong skills with Excel and technical background preferred
o Prior agile methodology experience is a plus
o Experience with Quick Base, JIRA and Confluence
o Experience writing user stories and documenting business processes to capture requirements
o Must have created project documentation including feature backlogs, scope documents, business, functional and non-functional requirements along with test artifacts and implementation guides
o SCM Certified - plus
