Mobile UX Designer
1 Year+ Consulting Engagement
Location: Dallas, TX

We have an IMMEDIATE job opening for a mobile UX Designer to work on-site at our client who is an industry leader in their field; this role will be located at their Dallas, TX office. This is a great opportunity to join a global organization and work on new applications. This role will focus on Mobile UX for native mobile applications. This person will the design thinking activities to understand user needs, participate in problem definition, create high and low fidelity prototypes, craft the narrative to share their group's work with the broader organization. An especially important responsibility is creating testable MVPs. Creation of information architecture artifacts and user research exercises will be very frequent activities. When required, development of design artifacts will also be activities this person will need to handle. The person in this role needs to be comfortable with learning new skills as the team explores new ideas. Someone with excellent communication will excel in this role. Portfolio Required.

Required Skills:
o Solid UX/UI design experience.
o Experience designing content delivery and/or TV interfaces.
o Experience with Interaction Design and Animations.
o Ability to use data to inform and drive key decisions.
o Experience partnering closely with engineering teams an agile environment. Experience with converting complex problems into actionable strategies.
o Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, interpersonal and analytical skills.
o Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies. Experience leading design sprint exercises.
o Articulate user experience rationale to stakeholders, peers, and executives. Elevate customer experience standards for scaled experiences, both digital and non-digital.
o Create low and high fidelity, customer-centric concepts influenced by customer feedback, personas, customer segments and usability findings. Quickly iterate on multiple interactive user experience solutions.
o Develop process flows, conceptual diagrams, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and interaction behaviors.
o Proactively assess and recommend improvements to the user experience.
o Able to pull together solutions that touch all aspects of design: User Experience, User Research, Service Design, Business Design, Communication Design, and UI Design.
o Able to contribute to user stories to communicate testable design decisions.
o Able to contribute to accessible user experience best practices.
o BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
o 3 years minimum professional experience, in which 2 years of work experience where you created customer-centered creative solutions with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.
o Portfolio required.
