Network Security Engineer
Long-term Contract
Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

We have an EXCITING new job opening for a Network Security Engineer in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance solutions that protect our customers and data. This position will be an equal split of both Network Infrastructure and Security focused. You'll join a team of Engineers dedicated to keeping adversaries out of the corporate network and be responsible for the maintenance and operation of information security systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information systems.

o Designs, implements, and monitors information security systems
o Identifies and defines system security requirements
o Designs computer security architecture and develops detailed cybersecurity designs
o Evaluates new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities
o Prepares and documents standard operating procedures and protocols
o Configures and troubleshoots security infrastructure devices
o Communicates security concerns to management in a timely manner
o Provides security guidance for other technology and business projects to ensure their security
o Provides assistance to system users related to information systems security matters
o Acts as a resource for direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff
o Maintains knowledge with emerging technologies and advancements within Information Security
o Takes initiative and responsibility for achieving desired results

o 6+ years of Security experience
o 6+ years of Network Infrastructure experience
o Proven experience with a wide variety of technical ability
o Must be able to prioritize assignments while working on multiple projects
o Must have excellent writing and oral communication skills
o Must be able to work independently with little supervision as well as a team member
o Direct experience with managing security tools such as: anti-virus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, web content filtering, data loss prevention, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), GIAC, or other industry certification
o Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
o Ability to travel one week/month
