Salesforce Lightning API Engineer
1 Year+ Contract
Location: Dallas, TX

We have an exciting new job opening for a Salesforce Lightning API Engineer to work on-site at our client's HQ's in Dallas, TX. This role will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions on the Contact Center instance of Salesforce. The Salesforce Lightning API Engineer will work closely with the Solutions Architect to translate business requirements into functional applications. The SSalesforce Lightning API Engineer will also work on optimizations to the existing codebase and system architecture, with a focus on improving operational efficiency.

o Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, build functional design documentation, and develop technology solutions that align with business needs.
o Design, develop, test and implement highly customized Salesforce applications leveraging the Lightning Component Framework.
o Maintain existing codebase and identify opportunities for performance and feature improvements.
o Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve bugs reported by users.
o Produce and maintain technical design documentation.

Required Skills:
o 3-5+ years of Salesforce experience.
o 3-5+ years developing custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Triggers, Workflows and Process Builder.
o Advanced knowledge of Lightning Experience configuration, development, features and architecture.
o Experience with the Aura framework and Lightning Web Components.
o Experience implementing Salesforce Communities.
o Experience integrating with external systems using the API, as well as third-party integration tools (marketing automation, business intelligence, ETL).
o Experience with React.js and core principles of ECMAScript.
o Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java and C#.
o Strong knowledge of data modelling concepts and database design.
o Experience with relational database management systems such as MS SQL and Oracle.
o Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, libraries such a jQuery, frameworks such as Bootstrap and AngularJS.
o BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
o Must have excellent communication (verbal and written).
