Sr. Digital Data Product Owner
Contract to Hire
Location: Richardson, TX

We have an exciting new job opening for a Sr. Digital Data Product Owner. This individual will work on-site at one of our client's corporate offices in Richardson, Texas. This Sr. Digital Data Product Owner will play a central role in the development and rollout of a product and will be the primary advocate for end-users and have ownership to lead a cross-functional team that will work across multiple business units to develop, test, measure, and continuously improve the product. This team will utilize Agile, lean start-up methodology, and other innovation best-practices to anchor solution development with a solid understanding of user needs to accelerate speed-to-learning and successful launch.

o Able to collect and interpret data, and analyze product performance
o Able to do competitive assessments, market analysis, ideation and financial planning
o Able to create launch plans, got-to-market strategies and product marketing plans
o Act as the interface between product management and engineering delivery teams, with the primary task of translating business needs into actionable, engineering-facing requirements, captured as stories in the Agile
o Leads user story grooming sessions and ensures a proper understanding of the business problems, can effectively communicate customer needs, and ensures requirements are understood by the technical teams
o Provides clarity and detail necessary for product development to succeed. Ability to answer questions and deliver direction regarding story definition, acceptance criteria, stakeholder needs and development priorities
o Manages the tracking of project planning and progress for the product development in a hybrid waterfall /agile environment with an outsourced and off-shore development model
o Understands and effectively applies story/requirement prioritization methods
o Must be comfortable working independently in a cross functional environment with minimal guidance

o 3-5+ years as a Product Owner in the digital space working with data
o 3-5 years of experience working on an Agile product management team
o 2-4 years of experience in launching consumer facing or commercial SaaS products
o Must have experience in the digital arena; a focus on Audience Data, Data Platforms, and Digital activation is a plus
o Bachelor's degree is required
o Experience with DFPs, DMPs, DSP's, Ad Managers, and other programmatic advertising tools
o Advanced technical understanding of audience data and ad-tech ecosystem
o Experience in evaluating and integrating vendor partnerships
o Experience with financial analysis, market analysis and product strategy
o Experience with product development life cycle (PDLC) involving data and backend services
o Experience with MS Project, MS Office suite and AGILE tools (JIRA, Rally)
o Highly developed presentation skills and ability to tell data stories
o Experience following defined project management processes and reporting status to internal executive leadership
o Excellent people skills and be a team player; ability to work successfully with both direct and indirect teams across the organization
o Ability to manage multiple projects/products simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
