Sr. SDET Quality Engineer (5 Openings)
6+ month Contract
Location: Memphis, TN

We have 5 new job openings for Sr. SDET Quality Engineers to join our team and work on-site at our client's global HQs in Memphis, TN. We are seeking candidates that are passionate about testing, especially automated testing and can talk about the successes they have achieved through automation. This role will be responsible for developing, designing and implementing automated and manual testing to support e-commerce initiatives across our online properties. This individual will be a pivotal member of an Agile Scrum team working closely with product owners, front-end developers and back-end developers to drive a successful testing strategy. This individual should be passionate about testing and delivering quality via test automation.

o SDETs professionals can automate the acceptance test by leveraging their coding skills
o Work with end users or customers and their experiences. They already possessed engineering skills so they can also think like a developer.
o Extensive code coverage through testing automation.
o Build, deploy, run & manage the application individually.
o Influence the development, program management, & design teams on technical implementation and user scenarios.
o Test automation and tools architect supporting an API services and Application development team working in a DevOps methodology
o Interact with development team to understand architecture and service layer requirements
o Develop system and system integration test automation architecture and strategy
o Work with page object model automation framework, suggesting improvements as appropriate
o Create workflows for integrating different system automation scripts
o Write reusable functions, both application independent and application dependent
o Debug existing scripts and interpret log files for maintenance
o Create and execute SQL queries and validate databases using an automation tool
o Work closely with developers and testers as needed to create and maintain scripts, and log defects
o Provide status reporting; attend daily standup meetings when working in an Agile/Kanban team
o Quickly learn and understand API services and existing applications that are undergoing upgrades

o 5-8 years of experience
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience
o 4+ years of development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
o 4+ years of experience working collaboratively with other team members
o Experience mentoring other technical team members
o Experience supporting sites on different browsers, operating systems, and devices
o Advanced knowledge in React-based patterns
o Strong working knowledge of Atlassian Stack
o Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies
o Strong working knowledge of using Git as version control with a team
o Ability to introduce "state of the art" concepts to develop test automation solutions
o Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across organization boundaries
o Ability to balance competing demands
o Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in diverse locations
o Experience with web accessibility including user screenreaders - plus
