Location: Irving, TX


We have an exciting new job opening for a Tier 3 Desktop/Network Support to work on-site at our client’s global corporation’s North American headquarters in Irving, Texas. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic company that is number one in its industry and become part of a dynamic IT team that is integral to the company’s operations and success.  Seeking someone experienced in providing general Desktop, Network, and Server support.  



o Responsible for providing desktop support of end user issues such as: new user and equipment deployment, internal application troubleshooting, ticket management, and proactive documentation of technical procedures

o Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements

o Work with infrastructure team to clean up various technical devices

o Escalate quickly when issues arise

o Assist other technicians as needed

o Responsible to keep up with current inventory database and order and read through reports and clean-up any broken devices

o Assist with IT asset disposal coordination for various sites across North America

o Work with vendors to schedule maintenance on devices (Devices might need new battery, or need a part ordered)

o Update Web Interface Information for all printer Global Naming Standard

o Server Print Queue Cleanup

o Unpack, image, package and ship PC’s for refresh and WIN7 deployment



o 3-5+ years’ of desktop and network support experience

o Cisco Managed Switches, 2960 series primarily

o Windows 7 / 10 PCs (Dell)

o Konica Minolta Printers / MFPs

o Dell Servers

o Windows 2016 Server

o CCNA certification highly preferred

o Cisco Switch/Router experience (Cisco CLI)

o Ability to verbally walk users through setting up a network printer

o Excellent written and verbal communication

o Cisco networking experience required

o Experience with File/Folder Security (Server shares)

o Experience with desktop refreshes & migrations

o Ability to diagnose network connectivity issues

o Understanding of IP addresses

o Knowledge of how to connect printers to network

o Solid documentation abilities and ability to follow documented process

o Excellent customer service skills
