We have an exciting new job opening for an User Experience Architect (UXA) to work onsite at one of our client's headquarters in Memphis, TN. This position will sit on the Experience Design team and report to the Sr. UX Manager. If you are an innovative, self-motivated User Experience Architect with a passion for using technology to address friction points for people then this is the role for you. The UXA is expected to bring to bear their expertise on consumer behavior in web and mobile applications in general and on travel apps in particular. The UXA should build insight to understand the full consumer experience, be the "Voice of the Customer" throughout the organization and ensure it is heard in all decision-making processes that impact the consumer - helping to create and sustain a consumer-centric culture.

o Inspire innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques and taking the lead at internal company meetings, brainstorms and external design events.
o Drive cutting-edge and sometimes mundane digital solutions. This is inclusive of cultivating creativity for exponential growth.
o Be a hands-on user experience and design expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through to prototyping, user testing and pilot delivery.
o Actively assess and recommend improvements to the user experience.
o Craft process flows, conceptual diagrams, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
o Create user-centric concepts by considering customer feedback, and usability findings.
o Quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through the details.
o Brainstorm with multi-functional teams to help develop a creative direction based on user experiences and product requirements.
o Work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
o Expertly defend the design rationale used to create solutions in frequent executive-level design reviews.
o Visualize design challenges and information in ways that are easy for other team members to comprehend.
o Stay ahead of emerging technologies and find opportunities to incorporate current thinking into product designs.
o Deliver insights about people and behavior - verbally and visually - in a way that generates insight, emotion, and engagement.
o Employ your deep understanding of the technology available on various platforms and how we might harness that in a simple but creative and innovative manner.
o Envision and communicate new service concepts and ideas using methods and tools that illustrate all the components and touchpoints of the service. You will need to be mindful of both the physical and technical/digital aspects of the customer's experience.
o Pull together solutions that touch all aspects of design: User Experience, User Research, Service Design, Business Design, Communication Design, and UI Design.
o Identify and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measuring product and creative success.
o Incubate and help commercialize new solutions, products and models.
o Advocate for usability, design and innovation within a fast-paced product team.
o Use and challenge digital standards for scaled experiences.
o Influence and assist in the discovery of customer segments and personas.
o Size effort, cost and time for a request accounting for all platforms and channels with ease.

o 4 years of User Experience Architect experience.
o 2 years of experience as an User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, Information Architect, Product Designer, Service Designer, UI Designer, or in a similar role.
o Previous Lead experience.
o Experience with web and mobile based devices.
o Experience working in collaboration with a team.
o Experience with common design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and OmniGraffle.
o Superb presentation and business cade development skills.
o Understanding of mobile and accessibility standards.
o BA/BS/Bachelor's degree.
o Willingness to travel 10%.
o Superb communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
o Employs analytical abilities to synthesize data and build compelling business cases.
o An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions preferred.
o Knowledge of Lean UX preferred.
o Experience working with remote teams preferred.
o Experience in an agile/scrum environment preferred.
